Market outlook
New
Full Review now includes Score to Spotify Streams
Deep and Studio Full Reviews now include a market-outlook table that maps your score and genre to how comparable Spotify tracks performed over a 15 to 21 month release window.
- See Low, Median, and High stream ranges for similar tracks in your genre and score band.
- Compare artist audience stages so the same score is shown in context, from small Spotify audiences to major Spotify audiences.
- Use it as market context, not a guarantee. Exposure, audience, release strategy, and song quality still work together.
→ Choose Full Review with Deep or Studio to see it on your result.

Research report
New
We published a score-to-streams validation report
We scored songs the model had never seen, then compared those scores against Spotify plays, playlist counts, and stream-threshold rates. Scores are not destiny, but the validation data shows the score climbing in the same direction as market outcomes.
- The overall 60s matter because songs in that band crossed 100k Spotify plays more often than not.
- The overall 80s are strong, with about three quarters crossing 100k Spotify plays in the validation sample.
- Exposure still dominates, so artist popularity and distribution remain major context for any score.
- 100k and 1M Spotify plays are traction markers, not Gold or Platinum hit markers.

Prompt Rewrite
Just shipped
Deep and Studio can now rewrite your Suno prompt for the next version
After a Deep or Studio review, RateMySong can take the prompt that made your current song and tune it around the Coach feedback, so your next Suno generation starts from the exact move we heard.
- Start with Deep or Studio so Coach has enough context to identify what to keep, what needs work, and what to try next.
- Open Improve, then choose Rewrite your prompt when it appears under the Coach guidance.
- Paste the full Suno prompt, including style tags, lyrics, and arrangement notes. The rewrite works best when it can see the whole prompt that created the uploaded track.
- Review and confirm, then copy the rewritten prompt into Suno to generate your next candidate.
- Fast is now a quick read; Deep and Studio are where the Coach guidance, prompt rewrite, and revision workflow live.
- Tracks no longer expire after 30 days, so your ratings stay in your history.
The rewrite is not a random new idea. It keeps the useful parts of your original prompt and applies the specific Coach direction from the song you uploaded.
→ Use it after a Deep or Studio result, then upload the new Suno version back to RateMySong to compare.
If Prompt Rewrite or other new features do not appear, hard refresh the page in Chrome or Safari so your browser loads the latest app.

Listening upgrade
Just shipped
Faster results with a sharper first listen
The first listening pass is now faster and more perceptive, so you get to the useful part sooner while the analysis hears more of the song’s real shape.
- Faster processing means most songs should reach the first result more quickly.
- Better perception helps the analysis follow section boundaries, momentum shifts, and hook moments more consistently.
- Sharper revision reads compare against the previous version, so notes can focus on what changed and what still matters.
→ Upload a track or revision to feel the faster listen.

Studio depth
Just shipped
Studio depth is now live across Full Review, Mixing, and Songwriting
Studio is the deepest analysis we offer. You get a clear priority, the evidence behind it, and the move to try in your next version.
- Full Review · Studio finds the biggest bottleneck across mix and structure. 30 credits.
- Mixing · Studio gives Levels and Spectral evidence for the mix decisions a mastering engineer would make. 20 credits.
- Songwriting / Structure · Studio gives listener-response and section-by-section guidance for hooks, arrangement, and payoff. 20 credits.
Revisions on the same track stay at 1 credit, so you can take several passes at the same song.
→ Try Studio when you upload your next song.

My Tracks + Pricing
Just shipped
My Tracks now lets you sort, compare, and see the full picture
Your track library got a redesign. Sort by recent, strongest, or most revised. Compare any tracks side-by-side with a qualitative breakdown of what each song is doing, what the coach thinks, and what to fix next, plus the factor table you already know.
We also simplified pricing. Fewer tiers, clearer value. The goal is the same: make it easy to keep scoring and improving without thinking about credits.

Score display
Each feedback mode now highlights the scores that matter most
All three breakdown scores are always visible, but the ones that matter most for your chosen mode are now emphasized. Mixing highlights Sound Quality. Songwriting highlights Hit Potential and Broad Appeal. Full Review shows everything at equal weight.
Also renamed: "Full Release Review" is now just Full Review. Simpler label, same comprehensive feedback. Your headline score is always the same Overall number regardless of mode.

Feedback system
You can now choose both your feedback lens and how deep we go
Upload now starts with two choices instead of one: pick Vibe, Studio, or A&R, then choose Fast or Deep. Fast is the quick read. Deep is the high-context pass with fuller notes, sharper fixes, and a much stronger Improve view.
The biggest upgrade is inside Improve: Deep now rebuilds the coaching map from scratch so Keep, Needs Work, and Try This Next are more specific, more section-aware, and more useful for getting to Version 2 faster. Your score stays the same. The guidance gets deeper.
Also fixed: the revision/version lane now follows the same score lens as the main result, so Studio Check and Vibe Check show Sound Quality there instead of the hidden Market Readiness score.

Revision history

Version 1 now stays visible after you upload Version 2
The Revision Journey now keeps your original version in view, then stacks the newer revisions underneath it. That means you can see the before, the after, and the next move without losing the thread.
Small fix, big clarity boost. Revision should feel like progress you can actually see, not a score that replaces the last one and makes you guess what changed.

Revision flow
Live now
The results page now pushes you into Version 2 faster
We rebuilt the results flow around a revision journey, version lane, and Listen/Improve mode so it is way more obvious what to keep, what needs work, and what to try next without digging through a wall of notes.
More coming: we’re actively tightening the revision loop, simplifying coaching language, and making the product feel more like a song workspace than a one-off score screen.

Scoring update

Scores now feel fairer for indie creators
We reweighted the headline score so it cares more about how your song competes in its lane, and less about whether it sounds like a major-label master on day one. Production quality still matters. It just doesn’t get to bully the whole result anymore.
Why we shipped it: most of our users are comparing drafts, indie releases, and Suno/Udio versions against peers in their lane, not against the most polished catalog cuts on Spotify.
